Farmers' Market Season Has Begun

Good day Storibord Fans! This Saturday is the first day of the Summer Farmers’ Market season. I will be at the Presque Isle Farmers’ Market at the Aroostook Center Mall, as well as the Fort Fairfield Farmers’ Market. This is where you can grab the freshest roasted coffee and be able to try different regional coffees from around the world each week. And, while offer lasts, you can get bags of coffee $1.00 less than the retail price at either farmers’ market.

This Saturday I will be at the Presque Isle Farmers’ Market (Aroostook Center Mall, in front of the former Sears entrance. I will be at the Fort Fairfield Farmers’ Market on Wednesdays starting May 31st.

This year for Storibord at the Farmers’ Markets will be a little different. For now, I will be offering bags of freshly roasted coffee ONLY, along with as much coffee tips and knowledge as you want to improve your home-brewing experience. I have not put away the freshly brewed pourover coffee service. That will return.

My goals this year for Storibord is to focus all capital and new revenue into a new and bigger coffee roaster, which will allow me to not only improve production, but allow me fine tune the quality of the roasted coffee.

In order for me to be able serve on-site, ready-to-consume beverages as I previously have done, I have to have a particular license along with specific equipment to go along with it. I felt that the best move now for Storibord is to focus on improving the production and quality of the roasted coffee.

Great tasting, freshly brewed coffee togo will return. For now, you can still get delicious, freshly roasted coffee beans for your home or for your friends at either Presque Isle Farmers' Market on Saturdays or Fort Fairfield Farmers' Market on Wednesdays.
